The Research Library continues to support the APT directly through its substantial holdings of publ ications, catalogues, journals, slides, reference material and images. Add itionally, the Asia-Pacific Artists' Database l ists more than 2 ,000 modern and contemporary artists in the region . The APT Project Database l ists over 4 , 000 individuals i nternationally (curators , arts professionals, writers , students, etc.) who are involved with , or interested in, the APT Project. . The Gallery's unique Asia-Pacific Research holdings are available to students and researchers internationally. The APT and its associated research and publications program, has become an integral and essential part of the Gallery's operations and future direction .
