Panel: Nalini Malani is an APT 2002 artist from India who works extensively in multimedia. Johan Pijnappel is an esteemed speaker and writer on contemporary art and director/curator of the World Wide Video Festival, Amsterdam. He currently resides in India, where his curating and writing focuses on the video art of Asia. Lisa Taouma is a director and reporter for Aotearoa New Zealand’s only television program devoted to Pacific culture. For APT 2002 she produced the performance event, ‘Pasifika Divas’, and is also a lecturer, curator and short filmmaker. ‘Who am we?’ 15 September, 4.00–5.00pm; Queensland Cultural Centre Auditorium Chair: Suhanya Raffel, Head of Asian Art, Queensland Art Gallery.
