44 KIDS’ APT7 AT QAGOMA ROSLISHAM ISMAIL (AKA ISE) SIRA PISANG ( GLAZED BANANA ) 2012 Malaysian artist Ise shared one of his favourite childhood dishes with visitors to the GOMA Cafe Bistro as part of Kids’ APT7. Sira pisang ( Glazed banana ), a traditional Malaysian dessert combining the distinctive flavours of banana and pandanus leaf, was offered as part of the children’s menu for APT7. Children were invited to experience the dish and then draw their own favourite meal on a specially designed placemat featuring Ise’s beautifully drawn recipe, complete with illustrations.
