66 KIDS’ APT7 AT QAGOMA As part of Kids’ APT7, the Gallery presented Where I live: Drawings from Papua and Where I live: Drawings from Papua New Guinea , comprising collections of drawings by children and young people. Drawing workshops for children — facilitated by artists and Gallery curators — focused on the family home and the drawings revealed the surroundings we all have in common. These drawings were produced to be shared with children visiting APT7, specifically the installation The 20-Year Archive. A selection of drawings from past APTs was also displayed as part of The 20-Year Archive, including Khadim Ali’s The Bamiyan drawing project 2006, Rich Streitmatter- Tran’s My river, my future: A children’s drawing project 2009 and a children’s drawing project from the DPRK’s Mansudae Art Studio, Pyongyang, also 2009.
