The participants enjoyed trying each activity, and then returning to their favourites to explore them further. The facilitators, and several parents, enjoyed creating their own artworks alongside the children.’ ‘As our region enters its fourth year of drought, these sorts of activities also provide relief and enjoyment for families who are struggling. Since Qantas Founders Museum has participated in the Kids on Tour program, the museum has gone on to provide more activities for young children in our museum. Thank you QAGOMA for creating such a wonderful program and for providing great resources for free.’ ‘Programs such as Kids on Tour provide local and visiting children the opportunity to learn about, and try, different forms of art from all over the world, and we are privileged to be able to provide this experience.’ ‘The children seem to have enjoyed themselves immensely, especially with the transformation of the fruit shapes. My three attendees came home yesterday and played out the story that they created the props for at yesterday’s workshop! Lots of creativity, imagination and enjoyment for all of them! Thanks!’
