MEMBERS EDITION ART + DEMENTIA Monday 8 February | 10.30am | QAG This program incorporates tactile and sensory elements that aim to enhance mood and wellbeing for people living with dementia. After viewing two specially selected artworks, visitors with dementia and their care partners can participate in a dementia-accessible, hands-on making activity. Free, no bookings required. MINDFULNESS FOR KIDS Thursday 21 January | 9.15–10.00am | QAG Join meditation practitioner Miriam Van Doorn for a mindfulness session within the Gallery, especially designed for children aged 5–10 and their families. Free / RSVP by a week prior to program (places are limited) / Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer at this program. QUIET: ART, YOGA, MEDITATION & MORE Immerse yourself in art through virtual and on-site meditation and yoga sessions for kids and adults. For four months at a time, the Gallery invites each artist to share their studio practice and provide insights into how they work. Open Studio also offers a suite of booked programs, creative activities and learning opportunities.
