Fluxus and after

Maciunas's role as a classifier was legendary. Until his death in 1978, he drew up out a whipped cream cake with 10 candles. He lights the candles, blows them out, countless position papers, diagrams and charts situating and plotting the course of the Fluxus removes the candles, picks up the cake, shows it to the audience and flings it into collective, his own face.
