The first Asia- Pacific Triennial brought together 121 nearly 2 0 0 recent works 0f art including painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, - - - performance and installation. Seventy-six artists were represented - - . - -'arn - ' from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, T h e P r e m i e r o f Queensland, Malaysia New Zealand Papua New t h e Hon. The Asia-Pacific Triennial provides a forum for continuing dialogue and \ \ enables building of professional f r e l a t i o n s h i p s . The next two exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific \ J Triennial are to be held in 1996 \\ ij and 1999.
