In its forty-fifth year, the Queensland Art Gallery Society launched a new bi-monthly magazine, Artlines, which serves as a significant marketing tool in its current membership drive. Looking to the future during this landmark year, the Gallery developed its Corporate Plan for 1996-98, in consultation with staff, providing a coherent platform for implementation of short-term corporate goals as the new millennium is approached. The previous Corporate Plan provided a platform for the Gallery to achieve a high level of success across a range of activities. The current Plan consolidates and extends the Gallery's focus with regard to the
