The functions and powers of the Board of Trustees are: EXECUT I VE MANAGEMENT TEAM Functions: Mr Doug Hall (a) to control, manage and maintain the Art Gallery and each branch Director thereof and all property in the possession of the Board; Dr Caroline Turner (b)to minister to the needs of the community in any or all branches of Deputy Director & Manager, Exhibitions & Cultural Development the visual arts by— Dr Michael Brand (i) displaying works of art; Assistant Director (Curatorial & Collection Development) (ii) promoting artistic taste and achievement through the illustration Mr Ross Sue See of the history and development of the visual arts; Manager, Marketing & Business Development (iii) promoting and providing lectures, films, broadcasts, telecasts, Mr Alan Wilson publications and other educational or cultural instruction or material; Manager, Corporate Services and (iv) promoting research; (c) to control and manage al land and premises vested in or placed under the control of the Board; (d)to restore and repair works of art in the possession of the Board; (e)to frame and package, and manufacture display materials for, works of art in the possession of the Board; and (/) subject to Part Ill of the Act, to raise, hold, invest and disburse funds for the performance of the aforementioned functions.
