Kathryn Weir Italy, To attend several key visual art events $8 750 (E) $3 000 Head of Cinema Switzerland, central to the exhibition and acquisition Germany of contemporary art and film, including: the 2007 Venice Biennale, to participate in the Australia Council Professional Development Curators Program; Art 38 Basel 2007, the important international contemporary art fair; and Documenta 12 in Kassel, the major exhibition of contemporary visual culture held every five years. *Contribution from other Agencies or Sources $ Overseas travel in the 2006–07 financial year focused on professional development opportunities for curatorial staff undertaking key research and planning for the 'Andy Warhol' exhibition. Research for Gallery of Modern Art exhibitions, programs and initiatives, particularly for the Australian Cinémathèque, has also been a focus of overseas travel.
