Works that are creative and - 2. Works that are more then leas aiming at imitation of outward appearance. The first group, quite largely represented, stimulates in- terest. The winning entries are realists., yet go far beyond the superticially factual. Betty Cameron's "Dr. Going." broad and simple in conception. is a fearless and unflattering study, yet the painter's human warmth shines through. as It does also in her unfinished portrait of Robert Names.
