For a while I had terrible problems ,., he recalls . ·· 1 couldn't get the dye to take. Eventually university tests re– vealed that the chlorine in the water was causing the trouble.'· A lecturer in ceramics at the City Art Institute in Sydney, Peter began using kites to make a formal statement about colour eight years ago. Since then his kite sculptures have won him acclaim, in– cluding honorary membership of the Ja anese Kite FI in Association.
