one of the jars will bear for all time the name of Idemitsu! The wheel has come full circle. It makes Idemitsu Kosan the only Company which is both a sponsor of this collection and a member of the Exhibitions Development Fund. It is that Fund which made it possible to mount the Ian Fairweather exhibition which, as it happens, is now on display downstairs. It has been kept open this evening so that you may see it and I hope that, when you do, you will be reminded of the special role that Idemitsu has played in the development of this Gallery.
