The Conference was jointly convened by Queensland Art Gallery, The Centre for the Study of Australia-Asia Relations (CSAAR), Griffith University, Brisbane and The Centre for Cross Cultural Research (CCR), Australian National University, Canberra. The authors as attributed have supplied text for this publication. The views expressed are not necessarily those of the Queensland Art Gallery.
