The Seventh Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art
A MESSAGE OF THANKS Since the inception of the first Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art in 1993, a large number of artists, individuals and organisations, both in Australia and overseas, have shared their knowledge and experience with great generosity, as well as assisting in numerous ways with preparation for the Triennials. Government support at all levels, as well as sponsorship and benefactor support, has been a significant factor in the ongoing success of the Triennials. In addition, Gallery Trustees and staff, both past and present, have contributed in outstanding ways to the Triennials’ achievements. Too numerous to individually name here, the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art gratefully acknowledges and thanks all who have helped realise the Triennials over the past 20 years: in 1993, 1996, 1999, 2002, 2006, 2009 and 2012.
