APT7 Exhibition Report

• Professor Julianne Schultz, founding editor of Griffith REVIEW , and Professor, Centre for Cultural Research, Griffith University • Dr Michael Wesley, Professor of National Security, Australian National University • APT7 exhibiting artist Parastou Forouhar, via Skype from Germany. The sessions invited audience interaction through Twitter and SMS, and were streamed live via QAGOMA TV. The popular series was also broadcast live on ABC Radio National. Qagoma memBers A broad and engaging offering of incentives, discounts, programs and events attracted more than 560 new individual Members and 1310 renewing Members during the exhibition. Over 1170 Members and their guests participated in a wide range of specially‑ developed programs and events presented in conjunction with APT7, including a ‘sneak peek’ event allowing Members to view the exhibition model and gain an insight into how the exhibition was developed. Members also enjoyed a special preview featuring carving demonstrations, conversations with exhibiting artists and a floortalk with QAGOMA Curator of Contemporary Asian Art, Reuben Keehan.
