Tourism Queensland supported the campaign nationally with ongoing activity across its entire range of digital assets — eDMs, website, social media — and extensive international publicity. APT7 received significant exposure at the Brisbane Airport with BAC’s campaign contributions covering major billboard signage, advertising on baggage carousels in the international terminal, in‑terminal digital signage across international and domestic terminals displays, and advertising in BAC publications and online. Southern Cross Austereo’s B105 ran numerous Community Service Announcements and on‑air promotions in the lead up to APT7 and throughout the summer period, highlighting the exhibition, the opening weekend programs and Up Late events. In addition, the network ran a national online promotion through the Today Network in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. Support from The Courier-Mail and The Sunday Mail included an extensive promotional advertising campaign for APT7 that included a major international holiday prize. The Courier-Mail ’s support also included a major opening weekend wrap in the Life lift‑out. Hilton Brisbane provided support in promoting accommodation packages through its events brochure, eDMS and online, as well as providing display opportunities on the hotel foyer screen (Brisbane’s larget video wall) and in‑room brochures promoting the exhibition to guests.
