APT7 Exhibition Report

Exterior view of GOMA facing the Kurilpa Bridge with signage promoting APT7 APT7 would not have been possible without generous support from state and federal governments, corporate sponsors, tourism and media partners, cultural agencies, foundations and benefactors. The Gallery wishes to express its gratitude to the APT series founding supporter, the Queensland Government. The Government’s support 20 years ago provided the Gallery with the opportunity to stage the first APT, which continues to be the only ongoing series of exhibitions dedicated to contemporary Asian, Pacific and Australian art in the world. APT7 marked the fourth project in the landmark partnership between QAGOMA and Santos, and Santos’ second as APT Presenting Sponsor. We sincerely thank Santos for its long‑term support of the Gallery, which has been integral to our ability to stage our annual summer exhibitions. Support from Principal Benefactor, the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation (TFFF), enabled the Gallery to present Kids’ APT7 and Kids’ APT7 on Tour, the most extensive regional tour to date. We extend our appreciation to Tim Fairfax, am , Gina Fairfax and family for their ongoing generous support and commitment to our children’s programs, particularly in regional Queensland. We acknowledge Principal Partners, the Australian Government through the Australia Council for the Arts, its arts funding and advisory board, and the Visual Arts and Crafts Strategy, an initiative of the Australian, State and Territory Governments, as well as Tourism and Events Queensland. The Australia Council has been a longstanding supporter of the APT series and their contribution enables the Gallery to undertake essential research throughout the Asia Pacific region. sPonsors and Partners 07 spoNsors aNd partNers
