Kids' APT - A collaboration

Specially commissioned for Kids’ APT, H the Happy Robot traces the life story of H, a little robot made of cardboard. The film is set in an imaginary Singapore and brings together ideas about life cycles, recycling and learning. Ho Tzu Nyen invited children to view the film from within a giant cardboard box theatre. I hope my art work gave children sensations that may not be well defined, but might be intense . . . something like poetry, or music . . . I hope art for children can be freed from the pressure to communicate, and see that children are capable of dreaming, or day dreaming. Ho Tzu Nyen 25
