Kids' APT - A collaboration
ARTIST WORKSHOPS A shared garden with Robin White Inspired by the APT6 work Teitei vou (by artists Leba Toki, Bale Jione and Robin White), A shared garden invited young visitors to work alongside Robin White to create a long, collaborative tapa (barkcloth) using stencils of plants and animals from across the Asia Pacific region. Across a four-day period, completed tapa were displayed in the workshop space, inspiring participants to create a shared ‘garden’ using only stencils, felt-tip pens and their imagination. I know from my own childhood experience that art has a powerful influence. Robin White 54
