Kids' APT - A collaboration

OTHER FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS Pacific Reggae performances Parents and children were invited to sing and dance to the Pacific Reggae beat as part of musician Marcel Meltherorong’s performances at Kids’ APT Summer Spectacular. Kaleidoscopic nature workshop Inspired by Reuben Paterson’s works, the Kaleidoscopic nature workshop invited young visitors to create their very own kaleidoscopic image using animal-shaped stencils, paint, glitter and colourful sequins, which allowed participants to see nature in a new way. Interactive tours Young visitors were invited to join an interactive tour of APT6 and follow a series of clues provided by a mysterious tour guide that allowed them to explore some of the stories behind works in the exhibition. The Cypress and the Crow: 50 Years of Iranian Animation Drawing on Persian folktales, literature, textiles design and miniature painting, The Cypress and the Crow cinema program profiled the extraordinary history of animation in Iran. Mischievous crows, Persian carpets and a fox that falls in love with the moon were just some of the many stories expressed in this survey of 50 years of Iranian animation.
